It’s been a busy few days, but very fun days!
Wednesday I got to meet and visit with Chrissy Metz! She is one incredible human being. Beautiful inside and out…and so inspirational! I even had a chance to discuss the “This Is Us” miscarriage episode, since I had 2 myself, the episode hit close to home. (I’ll have another post about that…)
Today I’m on a flight from MSP to PHL! Going to spend tonight with Fran and go to a benefit and visit! Lucky Karch! He gets both of us as his date! I’m excited to spend the time with Frannie! She and I have known each other since we were 3 years old. Legit fam right there!
Tomorrow I’ll head to the Poconos to celebrate my beautiful mother who is turning 60 today! I haven’t seen most of my family since the beginning of October. It’s bittersweet to travel alone; I enjoyed a glass of champs 🥂 but it was so quiet and I miss my boys so much already! I wish they were coming with me but this time it just made sense for me to go alone.
It is so important for us to make sure the boys know their family even though they don’t live around the corner. We are very thankful for such wonderful family and friends, all over the world, who make our boys feel so loved.
I’m over here ready for flowers, tball, Parks, and Summer Water (Rosé). We are currently getting hit with up to 10 inches of snow today! We made it to swim lessons this morning but the snow keeps falling and the roads aren’t plowed. Looks like after nap we will be building a Snowman rather than heading to a park. This Mama was not prepared for Minnesota Winter. I just bought L new snow pants and a neck warmer… I probably should start buying gear for next Winter now. My husband takes public transportation to work every day, (he loves it…) but with negative degree temperatures in the Winter he’s going to need some intense gear for his short walk to the bus/metro.
I know there is crazy weather across the country right now. The North East is getting snow and Columbus has a tornado watch for this afternoon/evening.
Hoping for a beautiful Spring and Summer for us all!
Wishing you and your families a wonderful day! Do you have any traditions?
As long as I have known my husband we have done a Polish Breakfast. As a child, my family had traditions. So we have taken a mix from both families to give to our boys, and hopefully they will pass on our holiday traditions to their future families.
I picked out the most adorable outfits for the boys today! My husband looked great and I decided on a cute spring dress….we woke up to 12 degree weather here in the Twin Cities, and there is still snow on the ground. I wore Uggs with a cute spring dress! Ha! I was told many times today, “Welcome to Minnesota!”.
We had a delicious breakfast, had an egg hunt, and found our baskets the Bunny left! We went to church with the family and we are now prepping for our delicious Easter Dinner! I’m looking forward to our cheese and meat plate (all from The Saint Paul Cheese Shop!) (Hi Sam! You and your shop are the best!)
If I have some time to sneak away I get to fold some laundry and clean some toilets! Looking forward to my hour with Daryl and Negan tonight!
